Sequential parts delivery or SPD is the process of delivering automotive parts to an assembly plant in the exact order or sequence in which the vehicles that need them are being assembled on the production line. At a pre-determined point in the automotive assembly process, an electronic ship schedule is transmitted to Indiana Assemblies. Indiana Assemblies then provides the necessary modular component assemblies making certain that the assemblies are specific and unique to each vehicle.
